Becoming a unified entity with the platform, Adobe hopes to contribute to its commerce side and make shopping experience of its customers more personalized and unique.

"Embedding commerce into the Adobe Experience Cloud with Magento enables Adobe to make every moment personal and every experience shoppable."

The deal is expected to be closed in the third quarter of Adobe’s fiscal year. Magento Chief Executive Mark Lovelle is going to remain at his post at Magento being a part of Adobe’s Digital Commerce.
